Flop call was expected , BB coming in wasn't expected.

Flopped top 2 on a pretty wet board , cbet and got raised.
Flat so that draws might continue to barrel if he raised on a semi bluff , his AF is more then 1 , so draws are easily in this range , i am ahead of straight draw , flush draws , and lower 2 pairs.

On the turn i decided to pot control and checked , a 6 could hit both flush draws and straight draws he has , what should my plan be ?

  1. what's his VPIP/PFR? the first thing that came to my mind when he open limp is that he has SPP or SCs that probably isn't strong enough to open raise UTG. either that or he's a fish who just limp alot. OTF when he raised u, his range is likely JT/sets/Tx/2pair but i'm inclined to think that he has JTss. that raise doesn't seem like he wants to chase away FD so even if a flush does come he's likely good too. OTT his range is even narrower as i don't think sets/2pair are betting there. therefore i feel folding is best there

  2. to add on wad jacob said, preflop you should iso raise bigger. you want more fold equity to hopefully take it down preflop, as you will be playing it oop on the flop.

on flop he probably have a str or flop draw, sets are unlikely as u already have the 9 and 7. So i wont put him on 99 or 77, maybe 88.

Your plan on the flop to just call the raise is ok. i probably will have done tt too. As the turn card is so bad, its ok to fold.

  3. 42/16 AF:4

    42% = 44+,A2s+,K2s+,Q4s+,J6s+,T7s+,97s+,87s,A3o+,K6o+,Q8o+,J8o+,T8o+

didn't click on the positional VP/PFR as i do it only if i find them raising EP too much and will check only if i think they are out of line.

thing is , he has like less then 100 hands , so the stats are not as accurate but not like i have no info and have to do a vacuum analysis.

i called his flop raise simply because of his AF , he could be well doing it with anything.

if he had a lower AF like anywhere below 1.5 , i would probably fold to the turn aggression.
