the board is pretty save for me i will say, my plan is just to check/call him down or if other Q land i will get all in.
can onli put him on JQ KQ TQ? after much thinking its not worth the call with about 90bb
the reason i did not re raise pre flop is cause i does not wan to see a 3bet or shove, or some1 called and i miss flop, it will be very hard to play with AQ or i dun really like to play AQ.

lets start from preflop. u are in the BB, and 2limpers. if u raise its very rare someone will 3bet after limping from MP or LP. sometimes u see it from UTG with AA, KK. but in ur this situation u wont get re raise like ever. very unlikely.
ReplyDeletei dont understand why u think "its hard to play with AQ". flop u can do standard cbet if board texture is right. if not check folding isnt the worst line ever.
its profitable(+EV) just to raise AQ but fold every single time u miss the flop.
what did u put him on the flop? did u think he have a 3? i dont think he will have AK AQ AJ there, as he will likely raise pf.
then since u think he have AK, AQ, AJ and not the 3, why u fold on turn?
As played, given no reasons u are ahead of alot of hands like a midpair or a weaker Q. a 3 probably would value bet the turn and not shove for so much fold equity.
you would check PF in this spot probably only if the kamran_mi has a history of limp-raising. I think its ok to raise PF to isolate kamran_mi as ledav777 is calling only cos its cheap: 1bb to win potentially 3.5 ( 1 limper , 1.5 blind , his own blind) AQ is a marginal hand that hopefully you can get to heads up with , not multiway , hands that play better multiway = suited connectors , one gapers ( e.g. J9) pocket pair etc. where you can flop 2pr + or strong draws.

i think abit typo i put him on JQ QK TQ A3 on turn but he shoving 90bb into a 10bb pot, i felt not really worth it to call as the fact is im losing to a single 3 but on other hand he may have a weaker Q.

rui ming: i will take ur line of playing AQ, but this session i played, my AQ meet AK pre flop shove like 4times alr and most of them limp shove.
i think u are missing alot of value if u nv raise PF. and by raising, alot of 3x hands will fold so the chances that villain got a 3 is lesser.
